My name is M**** L**. It sounds quite like the persona on television some time ago, but that’s all in the past, so it’s not funny anymore. Anyway, I am around 14 late years of age, and go to school at Raffles Institution in Singapore. My CCA is Guitar Ensemble, which I have finally started going for in quite a while. I stay in the Yio Chu Kang area, in the estate known as the Countryside. I have a younger brother who sometimes gets a bit annoying but otherwise not much of a problem.
History
I came from a total of 3 primary schools. I spent 1 and a half years in Townsville during Primary 1 and part of Primary 2, and went over to China to stay for some time. In China, I was supposed to be in the best local school in Shanghai, but I think it was pirated or something because it did not seem very great place. Until I saw the other schools, I did not know why it was the best. Children in Shanghai are strange. In class, the boys are very competitive and seem to like making Singapore seem inferior to China. Their Chinese was 3 years ahead of me and so I was failing for a while until I managed to catch up. However, their English was 4 years behind, so I was spending English lessons reading books to show off while the rest of the class learnt the letters “g” and “G”. They also liked to bully me. Especially the renowned China Dragon girls. They were hounding me by day and giving me nightmares by night trying to make my life miserable. Apparently they took offense at my refusal to eat some funny foodstuff they offered me. I returned to Singapore in Primary 3, and spent 1 more year in Townsville. After that, I got into Catholic High (Jr) and had quite a fun 3 years. Then, I took the PSLE, and came into RI, where I remain to this day.
Life
To me life is about how much fun today can be, and how to ensure that tomorrow can also be as fun. In other words, I try to have fun, while at the same time try to do moderately well in my studies to ensure a good life. Not so sure whether it is working so well though… An additional thing about life is friends and family. It would not be the same without them.
Conclusion
Apparently my life wasn’t as boring as I thought. But still, most of my current activities are quite monotonous, even though they would take a lot of time to write down, they would not really interest readers at all. Anything interesting will be found here anyway. In the end, the important thing in life is to follow what your heart wants, not your brain. That’s what got me here…for good or for evil…
